For all you curve monsters with larger bosoms…
Sweater weather lasts longer in Los Angeles than it does in New York, Chicago, or any of the other small Midwestern cities where I’ve lived. The general LA cold-weather look leans toward jean and motorcycle jackets (vegan leather, of course), but the classic knit sweater also thrives, even in a city so far from the influence of the New England Aesthetic.
I love a knit sweater myself, but knit sweaters don’t like me back nearly as much. Mainly because I’m, ahem, rather well endowed on top.
Most warm knit sweaters don’t flatter a larger chest. The boxy shape means the fabric hangs off my breasts, eliminating any shape in my lower torso, and the heft of the knit adds volume. I call the resulting shape a “Top Blob.”
